Kobby Graham
Cultural Researcher & Ethnomusicologist
Experience in Creative Entrepreneurial Space:
Kobby Graham is a creative thinker who is passionately curious about music, African culture, and counterculture. Through lecturing, research, developing creative projects, public speaking, curating music, and freelance writing, he has championed arts and culture for over two decades. Graham has written for the likes of The Guardian and Aperture, received a Miles Morland African Writers Scholarship, and DANIDA funding for Ph.D. research on Ghana’s alternative music scene. In doing these things, he has stated that he is trying to create pathways for young African creatives, cultural practitioners, and journalists to follow. In his words, “It’s all for the culture, and towards the expansion of our collective empathy and social imagination”.
