Mills Media is a Ghanaian creative studio founded in 2016 with a bold mission: to tell authentic African stories and share them with the world through animation, comics, and games. Drawing inspiration from African history, mythology, and everyday life, the studio has brought culturally rich projects to life, including Asantewaa, The Guardians, and the recently released game Anokye. With a continuation of the Anokye IP now in active production, Mills Media continues to expand its creative universe rooted in African heritage. Beyond content creation, the studio is building an ecosystem designed to sustain and elevate African creativity. Afrotales+ serves as a dedicated streaming platform for African animated and creative content, while SESA Academy trains and empowers the next generation of African animators, designers, storytellers, and digital creators. Together, these initiatives position Mills Media not just as a studio, but as a driving force in building a globally competitive Ghanaian animation industry that proudly preserves and celebrates African identity and culture.
